"Dominic Caserta will be the voice for research & development, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Sacramento."
-R. Michael Kasperzak, Mayor, City of Mountain View, ret.* Silicon Valley is this country's best example of how technology creates jobs, facilitates innovation, revitalizes communities, and moves the world. In California, we have been trailblazers for years and we need the right policies to allow continued entrepreneurship and success. We can also take steps to support the next generation of leaders through technology training and industry partnerships. As a senior member of the Economic Revitalization Committee, I have worked hard to make Santa Clara a great place to do business. We have the lowest utility rates of any Bay Area city, and Santa Clara has been rated one of the best cities in the country to do business. Some of our accomplishments include:
I believe in the promise of start-up businesses. I will promote tax credits for research and development in nanotechnology, stem cell research, alternative energy sources and green technology. I will fight to make California the best place in the world to do business by investing in infrastructure, balancing the state budget on time, and limiting bureaucratic red tape. I will be the voice for research & development, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Sacramento -- in short, I will truly represent the character of our District.* Affiliation listed for identification purposes only. |
